it's a ...

um ... yeah, those are the only pictures the technician gave us. one of the baby's head and one of the baby's foot. what the crap??? the ultrasound was very frustrating and robby is still pissed ... but it's over now and we can't change how bizarre the whole thing was. oh well. the upside? well, that would be that i was right. we're having a GIRL!!! huzzah!!! i'm really excited about that.
...
i've been telling everyone since i found out i was pregnant that it was a girl. and robby has been telling people its twin boys just to spite me. ARG. oh well, i won. its a girl!! (well we have an 80% chance its a girl, according to the technician ... since she couldn't find a penis. robby's not sure she could find anything and doesn't really trust her judgement.)
...
moral of the story: IT'S A GIRL!!!
...
and we don't have any names picked out either, so don't ask. and once we do decide on one we will probably keep it a secret like we did with aidan. so you're all gonna have to wait until october. sorry!!

Congratulations on the Girl! It is so nice when you have one of each because then you aren't so worried about what you have after that. Plus now you know for sure that you will have the chance to raise on of each! Well Congratulations again!

Congrats! I love having a boy and a girl, it is so fun! We had a weird ultrasound this time too, so I am really hoping this baby doesn't pop out a boy because if it does he will be nameless and naked for awhile. Congrats again I can't wait until October to see what a cutie she is and to hear the name you guys decide on.

no names picked out? pshaw! you know you are going to name her barbie!

next time, just tell robby to be the ex-marine that he is and hold the tech hostage until he gets what he wants. no point being all pissy, if you don't at least try to tell others of your point of view!

sorry.

Oh HUGE congrats Jode! A boy and a girl:) I think on the pre-birth name front you should drop airy and vague suggestions of something ridiculous, like Lothlorien Galadriel or
Angel Salvation or something. Can you keep a straight face?

(I went to school with a Lothlorien Galadriel.)

No hard feelings about the name. It took Phillip and me forever to decide, and when we finally did choose a name we kept it to ourselves (partly to make sure she actually LOOKED like a Joy before we told the whole world that would be her name).

And thank you for the Nutella ice cream recipe. I really MUST try that some time very soon.

Oh I'm so excited for you! I hope you're feeling well, I can't imaging being pregnant and already having a very active and adorable little boy. You (and all mothers like you) deserve a medal, or at least free ice cream and chocolate everywhere you go!

Love Cara

Fun, fun. Boy then girl. That how it happened for us, too. It is really cool having one of each. Then with the third we went crazy and didn't find out what we were having since we had all the stuff anyway. It wasn't so nerve-wracking as I thought it would be.

Don't worry about the pictures too much, a bean is a bean. Congrats.

That's so exciting! And its always nice to be right. :) I am getting so sick of the name questions, good idea telling everyone not to ask.

Congrats, girls are great! I have a much easier time coming up with girl names, they're so much cuter! I'm a little bummed I haven't got the chance to use more of them :-).
