dark age of camelot

i've decided that i need to spend more time with my husband after he gets home from work. we usually spend our evenings on opposite ends of the house. him in our office playing video games, and me in the living room watching television (he doesn't like watching television, he gets bored easily and doesn't enjoy the same programs that i enjoy).
...
i've taken up playing his video game, which is a online role-playing game, called dark age of camelot. it's actually been really fun these past few weeks. but we haven't played the game together yet because my laptop can't support the game, so i've been playing on his computer while he sits next to me and plays on the playstation 2 -- and if aidan's awake he plays in there too sitting in his chair and playing with his toys and throwing them across the room to try to get our attention.i created a Valkyrie (but the image above isn't my character, i don't know how to do a screenshot). she's awesome and a great fighter -- i already have her up to level 45 (in only about a month -- i have a friend who started playing the same time and his character is only 25. you can get up to level 50).
...
i now use weird phrases in my daily life, like "i'm gonna go down and farm in Spin" translation: "i'm going to go to Spindelhalla (a dungeon) and fight monsters (thralls and arachites) and hope that they drop weapons and armor (which means more money for me)"
...
i know it's such a small thing, and doesn't really matter to me. but my husband loves that i've decided to play again. and for such a small thing it's really made up both more happy. what do you do to spend more time with your spouse?

My husband's job is NUTS. If he is home in the evening, he is on his laptop working on the hundreds of email he has to sift through each day and I watch tv next to him. If I am doing household things, he tends to be less happy. If we are all available, we would all play Wii or Mario Kart or swim. Bike riding is our other favorite, but that hasn't happened lately. Tonight we got to watch my teen play a water polo game and that was fun.

To do a screen shot, on the screen you want a part of for a picture, push the "print screen" button next to F12.

Then open up Paint, and go to edit, and "paste". The entire screen should appear. Now take the dotted line square & cut out the part of your picture you want, save it in a new paint window & upload it to your photo hosting website.

Paul & I go for lots of walks when the weather is nice. We also have some silly TV shows we like to watch, as well as playing Pac Man tournaments together.

Funny you should ask - Phillip and I are trying to come up with things to do that fit our tiny budget and don't require leaving the house (by the time he gets home and we eat dinner, it's Baby's bedtime). You can only play so many games of cards, so I'd appreciate any ideas you or others have to offer. :)

Not play video games, I'll tell you that. My hubby would LOVE if I even allowed those in the house. :-)

Hubby and I love to play together. Whether it's biking, going for walks or playing with the kiddos. Nice thing about him is our interests are the same.

Haha, nerd. I played DAoC in college back when it first came out. We got to the highest level and sold the characters on eBay for around $200-300. Which reminds me, I need to sell that WoW account I haven't used since I got married. Do you know anyone who wants to buy a level 70 rogue?
