what an interesting concept. i don't really enjoy sewing, but lately i've been wanting to sew more and more. and this site has pushed me over the top. i printed out a pattern on saturday and hope to sew a little tonight after aidan goes to sleep. when i'm done i'll post the results. i've had this itch to create something, so i'm hoping this website will give me the push i need to start sewing and focusing on my business again!

so, if you like to sew i highly recommend heading on over to burdastyle.com and get inspired!!!!

Cute stuff! I like to sew, but I don't like the mess. I sew once a year. Halloween. :) So far, I've gotten some good mileage out of the costumes, since they go in the dress-up box afterward. Ask me about the 75-piece Buzz Lightyear Costume sometime. ;)
Let me know how your project turns out!
fabulous!
i think i need to make some wrap skirts, instead of muu-muus (moo-moos, mmuummuu, y'know, however they are spelled), like I was threatening T!
plus, hannah begged me to make easter dresses together this year. "c'mon mom! just you and me...you can teach me all about sewing...and we can have the same beautiful dresses...and we'll look like princesses..." who could resist that? so, I promised...now, what do i do?
These look really cute. I wish I had some talent in sewing I would love to try some of these patterns.
Interesting that you and Nicole are both so driven to create, though you use very different outlets. My (rather small) creative drive tends to express itself in choosing new recipes to try for dinner. Sometimes I tweak the recipes a bit, but usually I'm content to let someone else do the creative work, then I follow their pattern.
